Jerrod Williams brings a wealth of experience in business, law, and the military to his role at Douglas Law Firm. A graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law with a Certificate in Business Law (2015), Jerrod went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from American Military University in 2016. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration specializing in Accounting and Finance from American InterContinental University (2007). Jerrod is an U.S. Army Combat Veteran serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom, gaining valuable experience and skills that he applies to his legal practice.

Jerrod began his career as a Business and Entrepreneurship Law Clinician and Teaching Assistant at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he honed his skills in legal writing, oral advocacy, and client counseling. He later served as General Counsel for Optimum Dealership Group LLC before founding Law Firm Ocala, where he serves as Managing Partner.

An active leader in the legal community, Jerrod serves as Treasurer for the Marion County Bar Association, and is a member of Phi Delta Phi, Delta Mu Delta, Golden Key International Honour Society, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He’s also a leader at his church, teaching young adults bible study, and serving in the children ministry, and worship ministry, among others.

Jerrod’s dedication to advocacy extends beyond the courtroom, with notable speaking engagements such as OneSpark 2014, where he presented on crowdfunding. His legal acumen is reflected in his success representing clients in complex cases, including criminal defense matters.

Jerrod enjoys spending time with his family, farm chores, watching and playing sports, and traveling.
